three weeks ago I bought some material to makes some patchwork cushions ... I figured I couldn't live in a log cabin without having some log cabin patchwork!
I love hand sewing and patchwork is so relaxing to do in the evening :)
once the patchwork bits were done I sewed them onto the backing material ...
I decided to stitch round each square to make it more hardwearing
I did an envelope fold (like on a pillowcase) and french seam
and tonight I finished them ... 2 cushions! perfect for my pink and green chairs!
the kitchen is beginning to look FAB by the way I can't wait to show you pictures some time!
