I love the post

I actually won something yesterday ... and I never win ... so I was very excited ... it was a birthday giveaway on MissLizzie's blog Me and my shadow ... and it arrived this morning ...

It is the most lovely book/journal/folder full of inspiring ideas and places to note things down ... perfect for someone who is starting out on her 'thrifting' journey, like I am ... I LOVE it ... thank you so much @missielizzieb ... I am inspired by it already!

There is something I have been wanting to have for years and am so happy that my situation now has enabled me to do this ... what am I talking about you wonder? ........ sponsoring a child :)

I have chosen to do it through WORLD VISION who have been sponsoring children for over 50 years, so I figured they would know what they were doing! hehe

My info pack from them arrived last week ... isn't he cute ... this is FELICIANO ... he is 3 and lives in Bolivia.

Bolivia is the poorest country in South America. Its landscape is harsh and mountainous in the west, where the temperature rarely exceeds 20 degrees C. In the eastern lowlands it is wetter and hotter. Half the workforce is engaged in agriculture, but farmers struggle to make a living, as the land is vulnerable to drought, floods and landslides. Poor diets and living conditions mean many children are malnourished and respiratory infections are common. Access to healthcare, especially in rural areas is limited.
Population: 8.6 million
Life expectancy: 63.7 (UK 78.1).
71 out of every 1,000 children die before their 5th birthday.
13.3% of the adult population cannot read or write.
17% of people do not have access to safe clean water.

I should be getting a letter from him (well his project worker as he is only 3!) and I need to write him one :)

my Gran is staying this week ... this is her enjoying a good read!

I hope you are all having a lovely Tuesday x
